Gabriel has been a passionate runner for the past 8 years, competing with both Hillingdon AC and Leeds Beckett University, where he studied Sport Science for four years. After facing challenges with overuse injuries, he became fascinated by human anatomy and chose to specialize in the rehabilitation side of Sport Science. Over the past few years, he has worked with a wide range of clients, helping elderly patients recover more quickly after surgery and assisting them in returning to both sports and daily life, fully functional and pain-free.
Gabriel is currently studying Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire to further enhance his skills and knowledge of human anatomy. His goal is to continue advancing his career, helping individuals overcome their challenges and improving their overall quality of life.
Gabriel holds an MSc in Physiotherapy, an MSc in Sport and Exercise Therapy a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. With 7 years of experience at Runners World, he developed expertise in assessing the biomechanics of runners and recommending the right footwear to help reduce injury risk. Over the past four years, Gabriel has worked in both healthcare and sporting environments. He served as the Lead Therapist for Boreham Wood Football Club and wokred a season supporting the academy players at Watford FC while studying to become a Physiotherapist.
Throughout his career, Gabriel has refined his skills, working with a diverse range of clients, from professional athletes to members of the general public. He has extensive experience in injury management and rehabilitation and holds various qualifications, including the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. Gabriel has worked with clients of all ages, including academy players, adult athletes, and older patients, always aiming to provide tailored, effective care.
