Gabriel has been a keen runner for the last 8 years and has competed for both Hillingdon AC and for Leeds Beckett University where he studied for 4 years. After struggling with overuse injuries, he became captivated by the human anatomy and decided to specialise into the rehabilitation aspect of Sport Science. He has worked personally with a multitude of clients over the last few years. He has helped elder patients post-surgery to recover quicker from their operations and has been able to assist them in returning to sport and daily life with full function and no pain.
Gabriel is currently studying Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire to hone his current skills and knowledge of the human anatomy and to progress onwards with his career to assist people with their difficulties and improve their quality of life.
Gabriel holds a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and a MSc in Sport and Exercise Therapy. Gabriel worked at Runners World for 7 years which allowed him to assess the biomechanics of runners and examine the correct footwear to help reduce injury risk. Gabriel has worked both in healthcare and a sporting environment for the last 2 years. He was the Lead Therapist for Boreham Wood Football Club. He now works part-time for Watford FC Academy whilst stuying to become a Physiotherapist. Over the years, Gabriel has honed his skills and worked with a variety of clients from professional athletes to members of the general public. He has dealt with injury management, rehabilitation and holds a range of qualifications which includes the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. He has also worked with a wide range of clients of all ages from academy players, adult players and older patients.
